MAE 5420 - Compressible Fluid Flow
Grading Policy
- Homework
- 50% of grade
- Homework assigned weekly in class
- Homework solutions will be posted on web page
- Due first day of class next week,
- At least Three Major projects for Class
- Students may work together
- Individual UNIQUE! ssignments must be turned in
- Homeworks will oftern involve programming assignments
- Students will be expected to keep a library of self-written code for
problem solving
- Students may program in any language desired, however code should
be clearly "readable"

- Midterm
- 25% of grade
- open book ..... take home
- Final Project
- 25% of grade

Note: An optional final exam will be offered for this class for Fall Semester 2021.

Students electing to take the optional final exam may choose the higher of the two scores, Midterm or Final.

There will be no Paper-Assignments for this class.
- All Assignments will be Delivered Electronically.
- Delivery will be Via Dropbox Folder
- Each Student will set up a personal Drop box folder (basic) for Class Assignments
- Invite Professor (Dr. Whitmore) and TA (Christine Case) to Join

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Permission Form
.. If a student does not choose to allow grades to be posted in a common format, their grades will be excluded from the posted list. Student's may request their scores on individual assignments, and their current class standing via email addressed to the instructor at: Stephen.whitmore@usu.edu. Responses to individual requests may take up to two weeks to complete.
