Design and Testing of a Demonstration Prototype for Lunar/Planetary Surface Landing Research Vehicle (LPSLRV)

This is a student use site for the Utah State University MAE5930 course for orginization and reporting on the design and development of an LPSLRV.

An Iron Cross was designed so that we could practice flying the quadrotor portion of the frame. The iron cross was cut out of one solid piece of aluminum and it was too heavy to fly. It was important that we begin practicing flying a quad rotor so a wooden cross was made out of plywood so that our flight team could practice flying while cut outs were made on the iron cross.
