Design and Testing of a Demonstration Prototype for Lunar/Planetary Surface Landing Research Vehicle (LPSLRV)

This is a student use site for the Utah State University MAE5930 course for orginization and reporting on the design and development of an LPSLRV.

The wooden cross quad rotor came as a response to the previous iron cross being too heavy to fly. These Quad rotor models are important because they are there to help us pioneer methods to help us test, control and fly our completed craft. We used fiberglass wiskers to keep control of the craft. In the first video we used a drop down piece which was added to simulate the jet engine. While the wooden cross allowed us to see how we wanted our craft to respond.
